There could be a number of reasons:
- The French drain (the septic tank outlet) could be blocked.
- Chemicals flushed into the tank could have destroyed all the beneficial bacteria.
- External water could be entering the tank for e.g. a broken pipe or rainwater.
- Capacity overload, too many toilets connected to the system.
- Tank caving in (volume decreasing).
Our trucks dispose the effluent at municipal waste water treatment plants.
Septic tanks should work well if maintained and care is taken that no harmful chemicals or other foreign substances enter the tank. As soon as any bad odours occur, or after flushing the toilet, if it takes longer than normal to drain, you should consider sucking out the septic tank. Do leave it till it overflows.
MS Tanker Services Pty Ltd is a company that specialises in the pumping of septic tanks, transportation and disposal of effluent (sewage waste). We strive to deliver an efficient and friendly service with minimal impact on the environment and your budget.
Our trucks are equipped with specialised vacuum systems to ensure effective removal of effluent. The suction pipes can operate up to 35 metres away from the truck. The waste is then removed and disposed at designated waste treatment plants to ensure the safety of the environment.
